Your Questions. Answered
Who is Bright Path Residence for?
We support both young people aged 16+ transitioning out of care or facing housing challenges, as well as adults in need of assisted living. Whether preparing for independence or requiring long-term support, our residents are met with care, structure, and dignity.
What kind of support do residents receive?
Residents get tailored support with cooking, budgeting, managing appointments, education, employment opportunities, emotional wellbeing, and more based on their individual needs and goals.
Is Bright Path the same as a foster home?
No. Unlike foster care, our supported accommodation gives young people more independence while still offering guidance, structure, and access to staff when needed.
Can I refer a young person to Bright Path?
Yes. Referrals are usually made by local authorities or social workers, but we welcome initial enquiries from professionals or family members. Just head to our Contact page.
Do residents need to pay rent or contribute?
Most residents are supported through housing benefit and local authority funding. We’ll explain any financial responsibilities clearly during the placement process.
How can I join the Bright Path Residence team?
We’re always looking for passionate, dedicated individuals with a heart for care and support. If you’re interested in joining the team, reach out via our join our team page.
